Back yard campfire

We were planning to go camping these holidays, but couldn't due to covid.  One of our favourite things about autumn and spring camping is having fires every morning and evening, so we decided to have a little campfire in our back yard a few nights.  Not quite the same, but was still fun.  We roasted marshmallows and cooked damper.

Mother's Day

I had a beautiful day for Mother's Day last weekend.  I was treated to a lie in, followed by the most beautiful handmade cards, then an amazing pancakes spread for breakfast made by Stefan and Zac.  My kids indulged me by playing Ticket to Ride with me (they know how much I love it) and then we went for a family bike ride along the rail trail near Bonegilla.  A simple, beautiful day.

Maths game

Zac and Holly playing a maths game that Holly made up for school.

Circuit for a brain break

Last month Holly made up a physical activity circuit for the three of them to do.  Was heaps of fun and a great brain break!  Here's a video.

Happy Claudia

Claudia's loving using the borrowed school laptop to make videos of herself.  We've watched this one over and over, and it's given us the giggles every time!

Online games

We've been doing a few online games with various family members during this isolation period.  Not quite the same as doing them in person, but nice to interact online in a different way to just talking.

Here's a photo of Code Names with Oma.  I haven't taken any other photos of online games yet, but I'm sure there'll be more chances.

March trip to Sydney

Some photos from our trip back in March.  Feels like a million years ago now.  Was just on the cusp of the world changing completely due to the pandemic.  Think it was probably the last weekend we could have done it.  So glad we could do it.
